Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Ommara.
Atlanta is often listed as one of the loneliest cities in America.
And after moving here a few months ago, I felt it.
The city is vibrant, full of movement, full of opportunity. But it’s also large and spread out. Plans require coordination. Traffic becomes a barrier. And many events feel either overly formal or quietly intimidating.
You walk in and it feels like everyone already knows each other.
I found myself searching for something softer.
Not networking.
Not a loud bar.
Not another event where you perform who you are.
Just a place to be human.
So I created it.
Third Space Social is deeply personal to me. It’s my answer to loneliness in a city full of people. It’s a reminder that we’re meant to gather, to create, and to connect without pressure.
This is the place you come after a long day.
Where your brain gets to power down.
Where you don’t have to impress anyone.
Where you can sit at a table, pick up a pen, a paintbrush, a journal… and just create.
If you come alone, I see you.
If you’re new here, I see you.
If you’ve been here for years and still feel like something’s missing, I see you too.
I hope this space feels like yours.
My Hope
My hope is that when you walk through the doors, you feel exhale energy.
You feel welcomed without spotlight.
Included without pressure.
Inspired without intimidation.
And you leave having created something — whether that’s art, conversation, or a new connection.
We are meant to create.
Let’s get back to it.
What is a “Third Space”
Home is your first space.
Work is your second.
A third space is where community happens.
It’s where you gather without pressure.
Where you’re not performing.
Where connection feels natural.
Third Space Social exists to bring that back to Atlanta — intentionally, beautifully, and accessibly.
